Gabriel’s Art Kids is excited to invite you and your family to participate in this unique creative endeavor. Their Summer Notebook Exchange is designed to bring families together through art, providing a platform for collaborative and individual creativity.
Here’s how it works:
Sign Up (May 20th – June 7th): Complete the registration form. Enter your family name, address, and preferred weeks to receive the notebook. Pay an $8 registration fee to cover the cost of the notebook and shipping.
Receive a Notebook (June 17th – August 21st): Each registered family will receive a notebook for one week. During your week, each member of your family is encouraged to fill in the pages with whatever inspires you (drawings, paintings, poems, or even photographs!)
Pass It On: At the end of your week, return the notebook to Gabriel’s Art Kids at 2215 D St, Bellingham WA 98225 by the following Wednesday. The notebook will then be mailed to the next family.
Gallery Show (September 20th or 27th): Your participation entitles you to attend a special gallery show in September, where they will display the notebooks to celebrate the wonderful art created by all participating families.
They will also select pieces from the notebook and create salable prints from the art to fund their scholarships.

Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity and creative freedom to work on hand-building or wheel-throwing projects. They’ll deepen their understanding of function versus form and will be encouraged to think outside the box as they develop both fine and gross motor skills.
