Jazz: The Second Century Series has been around since 2007, but for the first time ever the 2023 series shifts focus to specifically present young artists. We are seeking artistic submissions for this opportunity until Monday, July 31 with the goal of a panel selecting three artists for Earshot to present at the 2023 Earshot Jazz Festival, happening from October 6-November 5. Applicants must be born this century (on or after 01/01/2000).
While we do tend to get the bulk of submissions for calls such as this during the last week before the deadline, we are hoping to reach audiences we have not been able to (yet) in our marcomm efforts, as the number of submissions we have received for this opportunity is still pretty low.
