Ohio-born, Nashville-based guitarist Griffin House merges irresistible pop-rock hooks with moody Americana shades and an ability to boil his experiences down to sparse songs. Influenced by a line of artists running from Woody Guthrie to Wilco, Griffin developed a distinctive style marked by passionate melodies and layers of ambient guitar. His breakthrough album, Flying Upside Down, was recorded with members of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers.
