2019 Annual Giving Campaign

“A broad education in the arts helps give children a better understanding of their world… We need students who are culturally literate as well as math and science literate.”

–Paul Ostergard, Vice President, Citicorp

Allied Arts is proud to have a leading roll in arts education throughout the county. Our 16 teaching artists are the life of the program enriching over  8,000 youth with the arts.

Arts are not a privilege, they are a part of the lives of everyone in the community. Allied Arts of Whatcom County strives to complete our mission to support and enrich the community through the arts:

  • Our new Whatcom Cultural Arts Festival included 23 Fairhaven businesses and dozens of artists.
  • The Arts Reuse Thrift Store received more than 2,000 pounds of donated art, school, and office supply items.
  • You have helped raise more than $50,000 towards providing quality arts programs in our schools throughout Whatcom County
  • The 39th Annual Holiday Festival of the Arts features artwork from more than 118 local artisans selling more than 25,000 items.

I ask you to make a donation to the Allied Arts of Whatcom County Annual Appeal today to help reach more youth and more community members in 2019. You understand how art has the power to transform. We can do that with your support.
