2016 Annual Giving Campaign

Supporting the arts throughout Whatcom County.

We are so very thankful for you. Please continue to pay it forward!

December is a time for giving thanks, and you are at the top of our list of who we are thankful for. You have helped achieve so much in 2016 at Allied Arts of Whatcom County.

Every time you purchased something in the gallery, art supply thrift store, Holiday festival or renewed a membership you helped support the arts in Whatcom County. Over the past 8 years, you have helped raise more than one million dollars to support over a dozen arts programs.

When you purchased Children’s Arts Walk Cards made by local youth, you helped grow our art education fund and support arts education projects throughout the schools in Whatcom County. This year, due to a very generous private donation through the Whatcom Community Foundation, we were able to provide a term of intensive art lessons to all 825 fifth grade students in the Bellingham School District!

You have so generously supported the arts, time and time again. In 2016, you helped to improve the art supply thrift store with new display shelving and storage options.

Last but not least, we continue to promote community and economic development in our downtown core through our Creative Spaces- Storefront vacancy program. Organizations and Artist of all levels can exhibit work and performances in a variety of locations for all of the community to experience.

The arts are a treasured part of our community, as a member of Allied Arts, you help us to promote the arts locally and throughout the region. Thank you for everything you do to make it all possible.

Let’s keep the creativity going! Please consider giving to our End of Year Campaign. This is an opportunity to pay it forward. Every donation—large or small—helps spread our program’s message that the arts matter in our community.

What better way to participate in showing your enthusiasm for the arts than by supporting Allied Arts of Whatcom County's End of the Year Campaign to provide quality arts programs throughout region?

We appreciate your continued support of our programs.

Warm wishes,

Kelly Hart, Executive Director
