3-Day Watercolor Workshop with Nancy M. Grigsby
When: October 19, 20 & 21 (Fri-Sun
Where: Jansen Art Center, 321 Main Street, Lynden
Time: 9:30-4:30 daily
This workshop is designed for the beginner to
intermediate artist who wants to either delve into the beautiful, fluid
world or watercolor or building existing skills. The workshop will
focus on:
* Watercolor properties and color choices
* How value vs. color and how they relate to a painting
* Breaking through the "fear" of facing a blank sheet of paper
* How to tell when you painting is finished
Each
day will include instructor demos, plenty of opportunity to paint,
individualized assistance, and allow time for discussion and sharing of
each day's work.
