3-Day Acrylic/Mixed Media Workshop with Nancy M. Grigsby
When: September 21, 21 & 23 (Fri-Sun)
Where: Jansen Art Center, 321 Front Street, Lynden
Time: 9:30-4:30 daily
This workshop is designed for the beginner to intermediate artist who
wants to explore the world of abstract art through acrylics, photo
transfers and found objects. The goals for this workshop include
learning how to approach an abstract/semi-abstract painting b looking at
inspiration and materials; recognizing and ENJOYING the journey process
that differentiates abstract art from realism; and providing the artist
with the skills to determine how to succeed with abstracts. Each day
includes artists demos, plenty of student painting time and individual
assistance, and allows time for critique and sharing each day's work.
This is one of the most fun and "freeing" art workshops you'll ever
take!
