The Allied Arts Education Project Presents


Northern Heights Extreme Art Wednesdays, 1:15-3:00

June 6th- June 13th, 2012



A great way to spend Wednesday afternoon is to join us for our Extreme Art series with
 professional teaching artists!




    June 2 weeks for $35
 


 

June classes begin Wednesday June 6th and we are offering:


Murals 2 with Mary Davis--Grade Levels: All

Students from the May class will build on what they learned and add to their masterpiece, while new students learn mural techniques focusing on composition, color, texture and design.


Hand Felted Toys with Sandra Loeffelmann--Grade Levels: 1-5

Children will learn about wool felt and the felting process, creating rattles, finger puppets, "stone animals" and/or magic pouches.


The Art of Building and Flying a Kite with Thor Myhre--Grades 3-5

Students enjoy learning how to make a kite that will fly--even in no wind! Using a simple design and household items, students will discover how fast and easy it is to make a great flyer. In this workshop, students engage in the creative process while learning kite design, kite history and trivia.
