A great way to spend Wednesday afternoon is to join us for our Extreme Arts series with our professional teaching artists!

February (5 weeks): $85 March (4 weeks) for $70
February classes begin Wednesday February 1st and we are offering:
Mask Making with Gabriel Miles Grade Levels: 3-5 Max: 20 students
Students will cast their face and/or arm for a temporary sculpture installation and paint it with patterns and symbols that reflect their cultural heritage.
Kite Building and Sculpture Making with Thor Myhre Grade Levels: 3-5 Max: 14 students
Make a kite that will fly--even in no wind! Using a simple design and household items, students will discover how fast and easy it is to make a great flyer. Learn kite design, kite history and trivia, and even create unique sculptures in our spare time!
Painted Drums with Ramon Murillo Grade Levels: All Max: 20 students
Create you own four inch Native American drum and learn how many different drum beats!
March Classes begin Wednesday March 7th and we are offering:
Powerful Painting with Acrylics with Ben Mann Grade Levels 2-5 Max: 18 students
Students are introduced to Ben Mann's signature acrylic technique, with an emphasis on ideas expressed in vivid colors!
Paper Animal Masks with Gabriel Miles Grade Levels: K-2 Max: 25 students
Look at masks from different cultures, then create your own and a story to go with it!
