Welcome to the Arts and Culture Guide Application for All Other Businesses/Applicants
Application Standards and Guidelines
1. Applicants agree to meet basic standards of
safety and cleanliness in their spaces.
2. Applicants must be residents of Whatcom County and business members of AAWC with
a registered business EIN #.
3. Sales. Proceeds of all sales are the property
of the business or venue. Allied Arts does not collect commissions. However, we
would appreciate knowing about your successes related to this program.
4. Liability is the responsibility of the owner/manager.
It is recommended that you obtain at least liability insurance on your
insurance policy for the duration of your listing in the Arts and Culture Guide.
5. You are responsible for representation and
directions. For all applicants: your
address should be visible from the street and spaces should be clean and easy
to navigate through for those with special needs or children.
6. Highly
recommended: At least two parking places should be available for visitors.
7. Participants and businesses must submit high
resolution images (300 dpi JPEG) and a 250-character description for
your listing by December 1st,
2011. Images and text must be sent
to director@alliedarts.org.
*NOTE* Our system is very picky about the images it accepts. Image file
names CANNOT contain any of the following symbols: ( ) * ? ! # - _ ' " :
; / ,
Applications and payments are due by 5 pm, December 1st, 2011.
