Grateful and Prosper: Chinese Cultural Festival Art Show
February 3rd thru 28th, 2012
Art Walk Reception: Friday, February 3rd, 6pm to 9pm
Opening Ceremony: Saturday, February 4th, 11am
Gallery Hours: Monday thru Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 12 to 5pm
Allied Arts of Whatcom County is proud to partner with the Bellingham Chinese Cultural Festival on their art exhibit this February. The show will feature works of many local Chinese artists in a variety of media with both traditional and modern subject matter.
This art exhibit is being held in conjunction with a concert at the Mount Baker Theatre on March 3rd, 7pm. This concert boasts performances by the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, Western Washington University Choir, and Peking Opera Soprano Solo by Shi Yihong.
This show will run from February 3rd to 28th. There will be two receptions for this show, both are open to the public: Art Walk Reception on Friday, February 3rd, 6pm to 9pm and an Opening Ceremony on Saturday, February 4th at 11am.
