Takes place on the streets of Downtown Bellingham!

Allied Arts of Whatcom County is proud to announce that the 18th Annual Chalk ArtFest will be on Saturday, July 31st, 2010, in conjunction with the Bellingham Art Festival. It is a day that Downtown Bellingham bursts with color. It is an event that is open to the general public for families, children, adults & community groups. There are prizes, entertainment and professional photography of the creations. This greatly anticipated community event attracts thousands of people to Downtown Bellingham to admire the "masterpieces” drawn on the sidewalks. By bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds, professional and amateur, celebrating their artistic creations, we help cultivate a new generation who will use imagination as a valued tool. Wagon rides will let visitors tour the chalk creations and will end Bellingham Senior Activity Center Summer Festival.

Open to the general public for families, children, adults & community groups.  Fees are $25 for a full size adult square and $12 for a child’s (13 and under) square. If you would like a professional picture taken of your square there will be an additional $10 fee per square. Advance registration is highly recommended as spaces are limited.

Registration can be done through our Online Store OR Click here to download a registration form and use this map to make your section requests OR at the Allied Arts Office at 1418 Cornwall Ave in Downtown Bellingham beginning June 25th .
