We are seeking three types of donors: individuals, public donors and business donors. Individuals have the opportunity to donate supplies such as paint brushes, pens, or any types of artistic mediums that they no longer have use for. Families are welcome to donate craft and art supplies that their children have perhaps outgrown, giving more children in the community the opportunity to utilize them. Public donors such as schools, Parks and Recreation, libraries, group homes and preschools are welcome to donate any leftover supplies from art or craft based classes that they may offer. Businesses will have the opportunity to donate a large variety of items – from classic office supplies like glue, pens, pencils and left over poster board, to more diverse materials, such as fabric, paint, or manufacturing samples, which could be put to further use by another community member.

Profits and donated supplies will directly benefit Allied Arts and the other services that we provide to the community. In addition to being sold in our thrift store, donated materials will also be used in our Art Education Program. This program has been running since 2002, and its aim is to provide art education in schools – something that is very valuable to our community and is being threatened by budget cuts. Profits from the thrift store will also help us run our gallery for local artists, cement our leadership in the art community, help put on the Holiday Art Festival and will help us support local artists and the greater community.
